Sculpey Premo Polymer Clay
Premo is Sculpey's professional-grade polymer clay, and the range that serious jewellery makers tend to settle on once they've worked through the options. It's firmer than Sculpey III, which means it holds fine detail, stays where you put it during caning and cutting, and produces finished pieces flexible enough to survive normal wear without snapping.
The colour palette is based on artist pigment references rather than generic craft colours — the mixing behaves more like paint than most polymer clays, which matters when you're trying to hit a specific tone consistently across a batch. Colours hold true after baking at 130°C without fading or shifting.
Available in 2oz single blocks across the full colour range, 1lb blocks of the core tones, 12 and 24-piece multipacks, and a selection of project kits covering jewellery making, bead making, and specialist techniques like Mokume Gane.
