: Field Easels

Field easels fold down, pack into a bag, and go wherever the subject is. Aluminium for the lightest carry (Jakar's pair of folders, Elements' Barrow with its zip-up bag), beechwood for the warmer hand and quieter look (Elements' Aran sketch-box, the Tara sketching easel). All include telescopic legs for uneven ground, non-slip feet, and carry cases where relevant.

If you are heading to a workshop, a plein air event, or just want to paint from the coast path, one of these is what you are looking for. The Aran is our recommendation for serious plein air painters - proper storage, full-size canvas capacity. The Jakar folders are the right answer if weight and pack-down are the priorities.
