Collection: Architecture Student Essentials

Starting an architecture degree means arriving with a kit that has to work from day one — drawing, drafting, model-making and a bit of watercolour, often in the same week.

We've gathered what first years actually get asked for: clutch pencils and 2mm leads across the grade range, a scale rule covering 1:5 through 1:100, adjustable set squares, cutting mats and safety rulers, detail and tracing paper by the roll and the pad, technical fineliners in the fine widths, and the watercolours that turn up on nearly every list.

Some things we keep in the shop rather than online — foam board, blades, spray mount, boards — because they don't travel well or can't be posted. Bring your course list in and we'll go through it with you.
