Winsor & Newton Artisan Gloss Varnish is a final varnish for water mixable oil paintings. It is non-yellowing, protects the surface from dirt and grease, and deepens colour with an even gloss.
Use it only on a painting that is completely dry, which for oils means six to twelve months. Shake well, apply thinly with a soft, wide brush, and do not mix it into paint as a medium. It can be taken off later with Artisan Varnish Remover.
