The TRAVELER'S Notebook was developed by Designphil in 2006 as the result of an in-house design competition — a refillable leather journal built around the idea that a notebook should travel with you and show it. The leather is vegetable-tanned cowhide, hand-cut at a small workshop in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Every cover is slightly different. The brass clasp is functional, not decorative. The elastic band holds two or three refills at once.
The Olive cover develops a muted, earthy patina over time — more restrained than Camel, more complex than Black. A blank MD paper refill is included. The notebook takes all standard regular-size refills: lined, grid, blank, diary formats, kraft paper, watercolour paper, zipper pockets, and more.
