The TRAVELER'S Notebook in Black – the original refillable leather journal in its darkest colourway. Vegetable-tanned cowhide, cut and finished by hand in Chiang Mai, Thailand, with an elastic band closure and a small tin clasp. Black develops a subtler patina than Camel or Brown: it softens and gains depth with handling rather than changing colour.
In the box: leather cover, blank MD paper refill (64 pages, made in Japan), cotton storage bag and a spare red rubber band.
The refill is roughly 210 x 110mm – a slimmer A5 – and the cover takes every regular-size refill. Add a connecting band and you can carry two or three at once.
Each cover is naturally dyed with very little surface treatment, so grain and the odd small mark vary from one to the next.
