About This Product

Sculpey Original is the oldest formula in the range — a soft, smooth clay that conditions easily and bakes at 130°C / 275°F to a matte finish. The Terracotta colourway sits in the warm red-brown range: not quite the colour of fired terracotta, but close enough to be genuinely useful for decorative pots, beads, and objects where an earthy tone fits the design.

The 1lb block gives you enough material for multiple small projects or one substantial piece. Sculpey Original is softer than Premo and tends to be less colour-saturated after baking, but its easy conditioning makes it a good choice for longer sessions where hand fatigue is a concern.

Can be mixed with other Sculpey Original colours. Bakes hard, takes paint and sanding well.
