STAEDTLER has been making mark-making tools in Nuremberg since 1835. The Noris junior wax crayons are designed as a first crayon: hexagonal so they stay put on a sloped table, paper-wrapped to keep wax off small hands, and chunky enough to be held in a fist before a proper pencil grip has developed.
Approximately 14mm wide, ideal for covering large areas in bright, even colour. Suitable for a wide range of basic painting techniques and for layering one colour over another. Plastic spatula included for scraping or smoothing wax for textured effects.
Rated 2+. The paper wrap unrolls progressively as the crayon wears down. CE / UKCA compliant.
