Series 461 Synthetic Flat Brush, 40mm: a flat brush in Omega's Red Silk polyester filament on a plain wooden handle. Omega have been making brushes in Italy since 1949 and these are workhorse studio brushes – properly filled, well set in the ferrule, and priced so you can own a range of sizes.
We use this one for acrylics, water-based paints and varnishes, where bristle would go soft. Sizes are the width of the head in millimetres. Wash out in the appropriate solvent, reshape and hang or lay flat to dry.
