About This Product

Neocolor II is one of those products that has earned its place in studios without much fanfare - artists find them and then never quite leave them alone. Made in Geneva they are water-soluble wax pastels: apply them dry like a crayon then activate with a wet brush to turn the marks into washes.

The pigmentation is intense and the colours mix cleanly when wet. They work on practically any surface including paper card fabric wood glass and ceramics. Lightfastness is strong across the range and the wide flat lead covers large areas quickly.

Available in 84 individual colours. A genuine mixed-media tool equally at home in a sketchbook or on a large format piece.
