About This Product

The MD Notebook Thick uses MD Paper Thick, around twice the weight of standard MD Paper. That extra body is the point: brush pens, water-based markers, inky calligraphy nibs and a light wash of watercolour all stay on the page they were put on, with very little show-through on the reverse.

The spine is a codex binding – the thread stitching is left exposed rather than glued under a cover – so the book opens completely flat from the very first page to the last. Blank pages, so a two-page spread can be used as a single drawing.

  • Size: A5, approx. 210 x 148mm
  • 96 blank pages of MD Paper Thick
  • Exposed thread-sewn codex binding, opens flat
  • Supplied with label stickers
  • Made in Japan
