Liquitex was founded in Cincinnati in 1955 and is now part of the Colart group (Winsor & Newton's parent). The markers carry the same pigments as Liquitex Heavy Body and Soft Body paints — pigment-based and lightfast, not dye-based.
Each marker has a 2mm nib, water-based acrylic ink, and is refillable with Liquitex Acrylic Ink. Works on paper, card, wood, glass, metal, plastic, fabric, leather, stone, and primed canvas. Press the nib on scrap paper a few times before first use to prime the ink flow.
