Harris grew up in Essex and settled in rural Suffolk, where the landscape has become her constant subject. 'The process of layering and blending the palette knife work to obtain the right tone, texture and light is so important to me,' she says — and at this width you can read every layer. She works in oils, having been introduced to the knife by fellow Suffolk artist David Porteous-Butler, and is collected across the UK, the US and Australia.
