She trained in art and design at Colchester Institute, spent a spell in jewellery design, and only came back to painting in 2014. The knife arrived with that return, and it has defined the work since: colour laid in ridges and layers, never blended flat.
An original oil, painted in the artist's rural Suffolk studio, signed and supplied framed. One of one — when it goes, it is gone.
