The Kaweco Special Mechanical Pencil in solid brass, 0.7mm — a long, slim, octagonal pencil with real weight in the hand and nothing on it that doesn't need to be there. Uncoated brass, so it darkens and takes on a patina with use; polish it back if you prefer it bright.
Push-button 0.7mm mechanism with an eraser under the cap. Takes standard leads. The pencil for people who have strong opinions about pencils.
