The PISTON Sport AL is Kaweco's pocket piston filler in a robust anodised aluminium body. There are no cartridges or converters: the ink sits in the barrel, around 1ml of it, which is more than a standard cartridge holds, and a clear ink window shows you when it's time to refill. It opens up the whole world of bottled inks. This Bordeaux and gold edition is new for winter 2026, and it's the one I'd pick as a Christmas present for a pen lover. Medium nib, presented in Kaweco's nostalgic round tin.
The Starter Set includes a 32ml bottle of Kaweco ink so it's ready to fill and write straight out of the tin.
Pre-order now. Official release Wednesday 14 October 2026. Orders are sent out, or ready to collect in store, from that date.
