This is the converter to reach for if you want bottled ink in a pocket Kaweco. It sits in place of a cartridge and fills like a syringe — connect it behind the nib, dip the nib in the bottle, draw the ink up, then wipe the nib and screw the barrel back on.
What separates it from the older Mini Converter is the hinge on the piston rod. Once the converter is full, the rod folds in, shortening the whole thing by almost 20% without giving up any ink capacity. That is what lets it fit a Liliput, which the previous version could never quite manage.
