Same 1911 octagonal shape, same oversized cap that posts to a full writing length — but the body is CNC-machined aluminium with a satin, hardened finish rather than plastic. It has weight in the hand without being heavy, and it takes a knock far better.
Black is the quietest of the aluminium finishes and the one that shows fingerprints least. The cap screws on, so it will sit in a bag or jacket pocket for weeks without the nib drying. Medium nib supplied here, which suits most hands and most papers.
Takes short International Standard cartridges, or use the Mini Converter for bottled ink. Just over 10cm capped, roughly 13cm posted. Made in Germany.
