A famous underdog gets the book-cover treatment. Mr. Rocky comes from 'The Untold Stories', a Hue Folk series that expands on the Urban Philosophy and Modern Life collections by riffing on iconic book cover aesthetics, with the British humour kept firmly in place. It is a one-off original in mixed media on canvas, square in format at 78 x 78cm framed.
Hue Folk is the British Urban Pop studio led by Michael Knights, a self-taught artist who learned his craft framing other people's work at Buckingham before turning to his own. Bold colour, worked texture and deadpan typography are the studio's calling cards.
As a one-off original this is the only one there will ever be.
