Hue Folk is the British urban-pop studio whose creative lead, Michael Knights, arrived at painting without formal training. He spent his early career framing other artists' work at Buckingham before concluding he would rather make his own, and a framer's instinct for edge, surface and presentation still runs through the studio's output.
