Short, weighty and a little ominous as a title should be. Heavy is the Hand is drawn from the 'Modern Life' collection, Hue Folk's take on modern-day literature where the cover is the artwork. It is a one-off original in mixed media on canvas, landscape in format at 99 x 69cm framed.
Behind the name is a studio that blends bold pop colour with British wit, and a creative lead in Michael Knights who built his craft from the ground up, with no formal art training. Worked texture gives the surface of each canvas a presence you notice in person.
As a one-off original this is the only one there will ever be.
