Concept Watercolour Joy is Hahnemühle's answer to the cost of proper watercolour paper - 300gsm, natural white, cold pressed, and fifty sheets to a pad. The sheet count is the point: enough paper to work an idea through properly instead of rationing it.
Glued pad, A5 (14.8x21cm), 50 sheets at 300gsm, cold pressed.
Surface-sized, so colour sits up on the sheet and stays bright rather than sinking in flat. The light cold-pressed tooth carries a graded wash without patching, and at 300gsm it takes genuine wet-on-wet without cockling. Gummed along the head - work dries flat in the pad and lifts off cleanly for mounting.
Takes watercolour, gouache, acrylic, ink, fineliner and watercolour pencil. Acid-free, age-resistant and vegan, like the rest of the Hahnemühle range.
