The Gemini II is Crafter's Companion's flagship electronic die-cutting and embossing machine — the press-a-button workhorse behind a lot of beautifully cut cards, scrapbook pages and patchwork blocks. Plate goes in, plate comes out, design cut clean. Around thirteen seconds for a full A4 pass.
What's good about it, said plainly: it applies more pressure than most home die-cutters, which means cleaner cuts on intricate metal dies and the ability to push through eight layers of fabric in one go. It's also 10% quieter than the original Gemini at around 58dB per pass — which sounds modest until you've spent a long afternoon next to the original. The 9" optical sensor wakes the motor as soon as it spots the white cutting plate, so there's no fiddly start button mid-project.
The compartment underneath holds your dies, plates and shims out of sight. The foldaway media stand props a tablet for tutorials, three USB ports keep everything charged, and glide-function feet on the base mean you can shift it across the desk one-handed. Pause, reverse and resume work mid-pass if you need them.
