The paper
360gsm card with a velvety, lightly abrasive face. The coating holds several layers of soft pastel, hard pastel, pencil and charcoal without clogging, so you can keep building instead of stopping when the tooth fills. Glassine interleaving between sheets protects finished work. Pads are glued at the head with a rigid backing board.
