The Art Of Love is the long-awaited collector's book from Andrei Protsouk, presented here as a signed, numbered limited edition. Spanning more than four decades of figurative painting, it gathers his romance-driven imagery into a single bound volume — a keepsake rather than a print to hang. Written by Ray Loud, former Chairman of Buckingham Fine Arts in England, with Dennis Protsouk, it reads as much as a story as a monograph.
Protsouk was born in Donetsk in 1961 and trained classically at the Ilya Repin Institute in Saint Petersburg under master painter Evsey Moiseenko, graduating top of his class with the coveted Red Diploma. That academic rigour, later loosened by his 1994 move to America, underpins every page — the constructive draughtsmanship he calls his 'Fine Line' technique.
The book charts his daring journey from Soviet Russia to artistic freedom in the United States, threading biography through the work itself. For serious collectors, the signed and numbered edition is the version to own.
