Hahnemühle Agave Watercolour — a 290gsm paper made from 70% agave fibre and 30% cotton rag, and one of the more interesting sheets to come out of the Dassel mill in years. The agave gives it a slightly warmer natural white and a distinctive, lightly textured surface that sits between cold-pressed and rough.
It takes washes evenly, lifts well and stands up to a fair amount of scrubbing. Acid-free, vegan and sustainably sourced. The mini block is a good way to try it before committing to the A4 or A3.
