Arches Watercolour Blocks are made from 100% cotton fibre for superior strength, absorbency, and surface feel. Each sheet is mould-made in France using traditional methods, and gelatin-sized both internally and externally to withstand heavy washes, scrubbing, lifting, and reworking — without risk of distortion or damage.
The paper is glued on all four sides to stay flat while painting, removing the need to stretch beforehand. Once dry, individual sheets can be removed cleanly from the block.
