Mod Podge has been the go-to decoupage medium since Jan Wetstone developed the original formula in her Atlanta antique shop in the 1960s. The name is a contraction of "Modern Decoupage" — and what started as a single glue-sealer-finish is now a range of more than twenty specialist formulas.

The core range covers finish preference: Gloss, Matte, Satin, Super Gloss, and Super Matte. Beyond that, each formula is engineered for a specific job — Fabric for washable textile projects, Outdoor for weather exposure, Dishwasher Safe for decorated ceramics and glassware, Photo Transfer for lifting laser-printed images onto wood and glass, and Hard Coat for surfaces that need to survive daily handling.
